Experienced property professional Anthony Barr has joined Colliers’ leading Capital Markets team as National Director based in Melbourne.

Mr Barr brings more than 25 years’ experience across key investment markets including Australia, London and Singapore.

Most recently, he spent 18 years in Singapore where he was a Regional Director in JLL's Capital Markets team, working with corporate and institutional clients on high-profile buy and sell side transactions across all asset classes.

“Our Australian Capital Markets business continues to achieve substantial growth across the office, retail, industrial and hotel sectors, as well as growing our specialisation in alternative asset classes,” John Marasco, Colliers’ Managing Director of Capital Markets & Investment Services, said.

“Anthony’s extensive experience across the Asia Pacific landscape; his network of global investors and capital sources; as well as his expertise across valuations and tenant representation; will further strengthen our market-leading capital markets capability.”

Mr Barr said he was excited to return to his hometown of Melbourne and join Colliers’ Capital Markets team.
